Known as an elite defender, Funchess uses his quickness, grit, and physicality to disrupt opposing guards and set the tone on the perimeter. His intensity makes him a matchup problem and a major part of Takeover’s defensive identity.

Offensively, he is a high-flying playmaker who thrives in transition, finishing above the rim with authority. He also keeps defenders honest with a smooth pull-up mid-range game, making him a threat whenever the ball is in his hands.
